Let's enjoy the atmosphere of the travelers in the 
old times by wearing the hats and canes recommended 
by the local people in Nakasendo!

Walk the old Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago. 
As amemorable souvenir of your trip,you wiill receive a certificate made of 
cypress ［available at either Tsumago or Magome tourist information office.］ 
Just hand in the "Starting point Ticket"wihich you can obtain at your Minshuku before leving.

Magome/Tsumago Information Center 

You may receive a certification for completing the
Nakasendo road hike,between Magome and Tsumago
at either Magome or Tsumago information center.
A small fee〔\150 for each〕 will be charged which
is going to be used for the upkeep of the hiking trail.

Monument"Beyond here in the north Kisoji"

This monument is the bounden of the kiso-ji(kiso path)
 and the Mino-ji(mino path).It is on Toson Shimazaki's writing brush, 
and was set up at the request of local people in November 1956.
